Greifenkeil at the WGT 2008 in Leipzig

This years Wave Gotik Treffen was quite successful for us. After 2007, being again present with our Label Grentzwert at the Agra Halle, "Blood Mystery" our new Release made it's way to you - reaching all your senses, unable to be ignored or forgotten ;-) Because of the overall positive reactions we decided to offer a "Blood Red Drink" on Sunday, celebrating with all our friends, fans and supporters at the Stand.

Greifenkeil@GrenTzwert Stand@Amphi 2007
Quite spontaneously we decided to in connection to the Amphi Festival 2007 not to be just present there with our label, but to perform (a little) as well (not a stage appearance yet, but a small performance in front of the labels stand). On Sunday, 22.07.2007, during the break of the last two bands we presented at the stand of the GrenTzwert label a part of the intro of our forthcoming performance program, the "Legend" from the "Book of Trees".
Despite certain acoustical annoyances around, we had certain limitations of our equipment. However, apparently we managed to transfer our message to the audience, which seems to have been indicated by their positive feedback. Due to technical problems we had to leave all special effects, and we had to reduce the volume strongly. The pyro- and light engineering didn't work at all; our dry ice had already faded away, and was left as a sort of a joke. I had to keep my complexion when I saw the remainder of the big box....., otherwise the performance had become a big laugh. And our light didn't make sense, since it wasn't dark enough yet.

To all the visitors of our small performance many thanks that you came, and many thanks for your positive feedback. Be assured, this was only the beginning of Greifenkeil... Greifenkeil "Live Appetizer"- spontaneous, unofficial live-check :-)
At Beltaine (1st May), quite spontaneous and therefore without much preparation time, the Greifenkeils enter the stage together for the first time...
For round about 45 minutes, they presented to a small audience tracks of the new album as well as some improvisations.

Greifenkeil Special Event in "Der Villa" Leipzig
In order to be considered as an insider tip after their first album release, Greifenkeil did their homework better than well. By all means, this is the estimation of the Sonic Seducer.

On November the 4th at 10 pm, the Greifenkeil Special Event will take place as a part of the event series "All of the Darkest Music" on Saturdays in cooperation with the label GrenTzwert. Inspired by the sound worlds of Greifenkeil, DJ T.D.A will offer the visitor a mystic-magical evening with dedicated tracks of Greifenkeils audio-visual performance project, embedded into a selected play list. Not only an acoustical, but also a joyful visual experience may be expected. From danceable Electro to rhythmic Ambient, sounds to dance and dream.

The logo of Greifenkeil should be still well known to many visitors of this years WGT, especially by the black balloon event in the city. Whoever now desires to experience the musical and visual world of Greifenkeil, should not miss this event!

This Special Party will be supported by the label GrenTzwert, they will be represented at a booth and "serve" some special surprises. At same time, DJ Träne and DJ SilentGoth will be in charge for the sound on the other two floors. Further information about the location can be found at: www.villa-leipzig.de.





Greifenkeil Event at the WGT 2006 in Leipzig

Balloon-Event
In the context of the Greifenkeil raffle on Saturday, June 3, 2006, a total of 800 black Greifenkeil balloons were filled with helium and distributed among smaller and bigger friends of the black scene, and younger and older goths. The run was great and individual creativity in wearing / carrying them knew no bounds. Since the response was bigger than expected, we didn't have enough balloons..... We truly regret not having been able to fulfill all balloon-dreams for the enthusiastic goth community, as our balloon reserves were already depleted after only three hours.
The event was a complete success, therefore we expect to be imitated at future scene events.... but our imagination has no boundaries either.....

Greifenkeil raffle in the Agra Hall at the deluidspreker stand on Saturday, June 3. There were cd's, shirts, and posters to carry off.....
The picture quality regrettably does not meet our expectations, as high resolution cameras were not allowed on the compound.
